The successful candidate must possess a valid Blue CSCS card and, ideally, have prior experience working in a prison environment. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities while adhering to health and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work, and repairs.Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.Carry out planned preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns.Respond promptly to repair requests and emergency situations.Work within a high-security environment, adhering to safety protocols if working in prison facilities.Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to a high standard.Collaborate with colleagues and contractors when needed.Requirements:Must hold a valid Blue CSCS card.Proven experience as a Handyman, ideally within a prison or high-security facility.Strong working knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrics.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.A background check may be required due to the nature of the role.To Apply:Equal Opportunity Employer:The company is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion.
