Based in North Devon and founded in 2010, Moo Free is a multi-award winning, leading dairy free chocolate manufacturer dedicated to treating those who either choose not to or can't eat dairy.
Through our market positioning and high level of manufacturing expertise, we are experiencing a huge amount of demand for our products with the business achieving 50% growth in 2 years.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to help achieve our ambitious growth plans.Moo Free is a truly unique business.
We are committed to our responsible sourcing, diverse employment approach (where we support people with additional needs to gain employment), 0% of waste to landfill and several initiatives to help reduce our environmental footprint, as we are now a B-Corp certified business.The RoleWe are looking for business development manager to manage a selection of customers including major multiples, wholesalers and B2B customers.

Don't worry, exposure to managing or assisting any of these customer accounts would work.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.We are looking for someone who has strong project management skills to see projects from conception to launch in line with the business and customers' expectations.Key Responsibilities· Manage and develop the existing relationships with a selection of Multiple retailers, B2B customers and wholesale· Day to day management of accounts, including new line forms, promotional planning and execution and sales performance tracking· Effectively negotiate commercial contracts and JBPs (where appropriate) whilst understanding how commercial decisions impact the rest of the business· Create compelling sell-in stories for branded propositions· Effectively manage product launches.
Ensuring all business functions are aligned to customers' expectations and timings· P&L management Here are some of the experience and personality traits that we'd love to see:· Previous experience in branded and own label FMCG account management would be desirable.
It could be you are a commercial executive or junior account manager looking to make your next step up with account responsibility (Experience with Morrisons, Asda, Co-op would be beneficial)· Proven track record of building long term, profitable business relationships· Excellent commercial aw awareness and high level of numeracy· Strong, confident communicator with good interpersonal and influencing skills· A self-starter with an appetite to exceed growth expectations· An agile team player who has the ability to flex their style when appropriate · Personable and outgoingHours of work will be 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
We recognise that this role is not a strict "9-5" so there is some flex to working hours.
28 days holiday, with a pension scheme and health scheme after qualifying period.
