Role: Business Analyst (Energy / Utilities)

Location: Horley (2 days in the office and 3 from home)

Salary: Up to £50k DOE (35 hours a week Mon-Fri)

Summary : Key responsibilities :

  • Engaging with stakeholders to explore, question, understand and shape their requirements
  • Challenging existing rationale and driving process improvement
  • Leading / facilitating workshops and discovery sessions and capturing requirements
  • Document stakeholders? requirements and maintaining the lifestyle of them
  • Negotiate, plan and agree delivery with all key stakeholders
  • Facilitating coordination with all key stakeholders to ensure delivery of Road Maps
  • Collaborating and communicating to align expectations and priorities
  • Champion the further continual improvement and learning

Skills and experience required :

  • A recognised Business Analyst qualification ? BCS or IIBA :

  • 2+ years working in the UK Utilities sector & as a Business Analyst

  • Competence with Business Process Mapping and Data Flow modelling

  • Able to listen, elicit, understand, analyse and capture complex requirements :

  • Energy, utilities or metering business analysis experience

  • Highly organised, attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Creativeness and imaginative approaches to problem solving

  • Any other technical or coding skills (eg SQL, C#, Data Analysis)
