Business Analyst

Description Are you an experience Business Analyst looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client based in Glasgow are looking for Business Analyst on a contract basis initially for a period of 6 months. The applicant will help to map out current governance, assurance and decision-making processes and identify implement opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of governance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders including Executive and Non-Executive Board members across the group.Key Responsibilities Plan and lead the delivery of Business Analysis initiatives, taking ownership of challenges and driving them to successful conclusions.Investigate strategic and business needs, developing recommendations for process improvements and business solutions.Support the creation of business and digital solution materials, such as using business and user requirements to produce technical specifications or conducting business benefit analyses to support business cases.Lead communication with stakeholders, clarifying needs and commitments through consultation and consideration of consequences, while maintaining a focus on user and business needs.Develop and apply communication strategies to build relationships, engaging with stakeholders at all levels through formal and informal channels, and resolving conflicts when necessary.Identify and capitalise on improvement opportunities, finding innovative ways to enhance reporting and stakeholder engagement.Provide effective consultancy and advice to users and stakeholdersUtilise digital subject matter expertise to investigate and define operational needs, identifying potential options for enhanced outcomes.Work in accordance with applicable Digital and Data standards in the Scottish Government sector, including the Scottish Service Standards and the Scottish Approach to Service Design.Supporting requirements-gathering for procurement exercise, developing business Cases.
