Since formation in Northampton in 1999, as a small team of specialist building and quantity surveyors, the business has grown significantly to a team of over 60 experts with further bases in Birmingham, Bristol, Milton Keynes and London. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing IT support and maintaining the Company’s IT systems, assisting, and supporting the IT Director and Group Office Manager including general maintenance of IT related hardware and software. Full UKDriving License essential as will be driving to different offices. Duties include: - Provide a central Help Desk for all IT related issues, including faults and a broad range of queries. - Set up and configure new laptops, desktops and servers and install authorised software as required. - Ensure antivirus, security and upgrades are applied to desktops, laptops and servers and kept up to date. - Monitor servers, backup, and other infrastructure, and ensure systems remain functional. - Investigate and report findings of any potential or major IT issues to the IT Director/Group Office Manager where necessary. - Undertake small to medium sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Director/Group Office Manager. - Assist with ad hoc projects. - Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development. - Visit regional offices as and when required to carry out relevant tasks. - Assist with moving/setting up equipment as required. - Ensure internal IT department documentation is up to date and accurate. - Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility. - Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
