✨ SEND Learning Support Assistant ✨Location:East of England, Essex, ChelmsfordJob Type:Contract, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Education and TrainingSalary:£85 - £90 Per dayBenefits:£50 referral bonusJob Duties: Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom settingAssist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategiesSupport students in their academic and social developmentCollaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environmentMonitor and record student progress and behaviourRequired Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsRelevant experience working with individuals with SENEducation:Desired but not essential education in a related field such as Special Education, Psychology, or Teaching Assistant qualificationExperience:Prior experience working in a school or educational setting with SEN studentsKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of Special Educational Needs and behaviour management techniquesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentGood organisational skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN supportFirst aid certificationWorking Conditions: Work in a classroom environmentPotential for dealing with challenging behaviourFull-time hours with the possibility of occasional overtimeAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
