Position: Level 3 Teaching AssistantLocation: Primary School, Denton, TamesideSector: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)Type: Full-time (Until the end of the academic year)Are you passionate about early childhood education? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Denton area of Tameside. This full-time position offers the chance to work with young learners and make a real difference in their educational journey.Key Responsibilities:Support Learning Activities: Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing learning activities, ensuring they are engaging and tailored to the needs of the children.Individual and Group Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, helping them to reach their full potential.Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, supporting children's emotional and social development.Assessment: Assist in the observation and assessment of children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher.Resource Preparation: Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.Child Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures.Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.Requirements:Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualificationExperience working in an EYFS settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA patient and nurturing approachA commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive school community and to contribute to the early education of young children.
