Position: Learning Support Assistant Pay: £85 - £100 per day Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September 2024 About the Role: Support and Inspire: Work with KS3 and KS4 students, providing tailored support to those with a range of abilities and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Diverse Learning: Engage with students in classroom, 1:1, and small group settings to ensure they reach their full potential. Enhance Learning Plans: Work closely with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) to provide individualized support that truly makes a difference. Extracurricular Involvement: Get involved in a variety of extracurricular activities, contributing to students’ development both inside and outside the classroom. Boost Your Career: This role is a great stepping stone if you're planning to pursue a PGCE or a career in Educational Psychology. Requirements: Behaviour Management: Excellent skills in managing behaviour in both 1:1 and group environments. DBS: A child-only DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one (we'll assist you during registration). References: Two professional references from recent employment.
