Operations and Strategy Manager (Housing/Supported Housing)

Hybrid working, Bristol, Devon, Cornwall (South West)

Full time, 4-6 months+

Are you an expert in Housing Management with great leadership skills? Are you looking for a challenging, yet rewarding opportunity in the South West?

Duties of the Supported Housing Operations and Strategy Manager role will include, but is not limited to :

  • Ensuring focus and leadership in line with supported housing business objectives and strategy
  • Ensuring a continued commitment to excellence in customer facing services
  • Motivating and leading over 150-200 colleagues across locations in the South West
  • Working with key external contractors, partners and stakeholders
  • Offering Voids and Arrears advice and ensuring targets are met
  • Being instrumental in upcoming audits
  • Set and oversee delivery of the operational budget in cooperation with the finance team
  • Dealing with recruitment
  • Ensuring statutory and regulatory requirements are adhered to
  • Managing and supervising staff
  • Experience in business planning and financial modelling
  • Experience in leading a Housing/Supported Housing team strategically
  • Full driving licence
  • Great understanding of supported housing policy, good practice and current trends
  • Ability to take on wider corporate business responsibilities
  • Contract management knowledge
