Science Teacher Salary: Depending on Experience + SEN allowance Would you like to work in this exciting Special School? Are you ready for a challenge? We have a fabulous opportunity for a dedicated and flexible teacher to join our specialist residential SEN School for children and young people aged 8-19 with Autism and associated learning and behaviour difficulties. Set in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, Spring Hill school was judged to be ‘Good’ in October 2021 with ‘Outstanding’ for personal development. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching well sequenced and engaging lessons and has the drive and vision to tailor learning to support students to make outstanding progress. We offer a bespoke curriculum with teaching taking place in very small classes additionally offering individual educational programmes tailored to the needs each learner. You should be: A qualified and experienced science teacher who relates well to children with additional needs Well organised and able to organise your classroom to support children to flourish Practical, creative and inventive with a good sense of humour Resilient and able work in a fast-paced environment Able to interact with people in a variety of ways Looking to develop expertise in special needs and Autism Dynamic, proactive and solutions focused Able to contribute to the school’s multi-disciplinary team approach Able to manage and understand complex behaviours Who is Cambian?
