Step Teachers are collaborating with a school in Weybridge Surrey and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL Teacher with a specialist in both French and Spanish to join their thriving MFL department. The successful candidate will be passionate about language learning and committed to delivering high-quality education to our students.
MFL Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish to students at various levels.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events within the school community.
MFL Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in French, Spanish, or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience teaching French and Spanish at a KS3 and KS4 level.
