Quality Engineer responsibilities include -
- Provide technical direction on Quality engineering to the Production team.
- Help to manage any customer quality issues.
- Work as a team on PPAP and APQP submissions.
- Raise 8D's and use RCA for any non-conformances.
- Provide ongoing support to TS/IATF16949 Quality Management System.
Desirable education and skillset -
- Experience working within the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of the AS9100, or TS/IATF 16949 QMS.
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as PPAP & APQP, 8D, RCA and CAPA.
- An appreciation for the Metrology/CMM area.
- Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering education (HND/HNC).
