So, whoever you are and whatever your background we’ve a meaningful career right here, ready for you to dive into.As a Technical Author we are looking for people who can demonstrate at least 12 months office-based experience and confident in writing preferably a GCSE in English.You will be responsible for development, coordination, and completion of technical documentation. You will be planning projects from start to finish, using your relationship building skills to engage with key stake holders to ensure that the project is finalised within the allocated time frame.You will need to have an analytical and problem-solving mindset to be able to make decisions autonomously, whilst obtaining information from experts. You will need manage own time and deliver against tight timescales and possess high attention to detail. As this role involves travelling to sites, it is essential for you to have access to a car and a full driving licence.This is a key project for Southern Water as all documentation produced is used by the frontline field teams and working partner in their daily tasks, which means you will need to be organised and work to high standards to ensure the task at hand is completed in a timely manner.Please note: If you are an existing Southern Water employee, you will need to confirm within your application that your Manager is aware of your application.
