Internal Account Manager

We have a new exciting opportunity for an Internal Account Manager to join a highly successful, family-run SME based in Cannock. Your role will be to internally manage and grow a territory of customers and prospects to achievecompany growth targets for sales and profit. You will retain customers by providing an excellent level of care for every customer through timely execution of account management, follow up and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete account reviews in line with targets
  • Proactive outbound calling to customers & prospects
  • Book/Manage RSM client appointments, schedule and preparation including samples/presentations/reports.
  • Action immediate post-appointment handover including quote prep, samples, next meeting etc.
  • Assist with managing new opportunities arising from account reviews and f2f sales visits.
  • Pipeline management & outbound prospecting
  • Relieve RSM of all account admin including stock-counts.
  • Carry out proactive customer contact activity to meet customer contact targets
  • Produce sales reports for internal management
  • Assist other KAM’s & RSM’s as necessary
  • Achieve daily tasks and measures

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as key account manager
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
