Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter this amazing opportunity not only offers the chance to gain new skills and work with a great team, but it also offers good working hours, pay and benefits.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB : To help maintain high levels of service and assist with the smooth running of the kitchens:

• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
• Assist with basic food preparation as required.
• Collect and wash up pots and pans.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
• Unload food and equipment deliveries.
• Keep the storeroom organised.
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
• To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.
• To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
• To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef/GM immediately.
