Our Kitchen Assistants provide support to our Chef & Kitchen team.

Your duties will include :

  • Assisting the chef with food preparation
  • Independently prepare hot meals/sandwiches for residents
  • Load and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher
  • Clean kitchen and equipment
  • Collect and distribute crockery from residents’ areas
  • Clear tea trolleys where applicable
  • Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuse
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuse
  • Carry out reasonable requests, as instructed by the Chef

About You :

  • A willingness to learn
  • A reliable nature
  • A flexible approach to your working pattern
  • Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • A committed and organised approach.

Working 40 hours per week, including alternate weekeneds
