As a Rights of Way Officer, you'll be working within the Delivery Team ensuring that public rights of way / access to the countryside is maintained Your day to day will include: Undertaking inspections and raising works instructions in accordance with enquiries made by stakeholders across the rights of way network in North Northamptonshire Liaising with stakeholders and dealing with customer correspondence from elected members, parish councils, landowners, developers and members of the public Categorising, logging and entering defects onto the Works Management System (WMS) and updating customers via the WMS system, working closely with the Communications Team and Senior Rights of Way Officer Assisting the Senior Rights of Way Officer with the management of cyclical works programmes  including mowing and clearance works across the network Attending meetings with stakeholders and landowners to resolve specific issues on the network, joining client meetings outside of normal working hours and other interested parties assisting with developing strategies for the management of the rights of way network What are we looking for? This role of Rights of Way Officer  is great for you if: Demonstrate qualifications in a relevant subject or field including knowledge of Rights of Way legislation and “Rights of Way: A Guide to Law & Practice” (Blue Book) You drive and hold a full driving licence Have experience working on the Rights of Way network, demonstrate an ability to resolve conflict confidently and effectively We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
