Junior Account Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Junior Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, ambitious with a keen desire to keep learning. You must have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A background in media implementation, optimisation, analysis, and reporting, as well as experience in creative and content development would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Client Management:

  • Serve as the key point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Working with agency colleagues to devise campaigns that meets the client's brief and budget
  • Coordinate and participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Ownership and responsibility for status reports and contact reports.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and exceptional service.
  • Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and the advertising agency by maintaining regular contact with both

 

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during project implementation.
  • Handling budgets, managing campaign costs and invoicing clients.
  • Supporting on pitches, along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency

 

Media:

  • Implementation: Coordinate and execute media plans across various channels, including digital, print, and broadcast.
  • Optimisation: Liaise with Performance Team to monitor and optimise media campaigns to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Analysis: Review media performance data and provide actionable insights to improve campaign outcomes.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on campaign performance.

 

Creative and Content:

  • Development: Support with briefing creative teams to develop compelling content and creative assets that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Coordination: Manage the production of creative materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Strategy: Liaise with Strategy team to develop creative strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.

 

Requirements and characteristics:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an account management or similar role within an advertising agency.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with strong project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
