Frog Bikes manufactures and sells the world’s most comprehensive and innovative range of light weight Children’s bikes. Exports are an increasingly important part of Frog’s sales, and with ambitious growth targets in Europe they need additional support for overseas customers. This will be a sales focussed role where the majority of interactions will be sales calls over telephone or online.

As an International Growth Sales Executive you will focus on:

1. Proactively supporting customers quickly and efficiently in a single call or email where possible. Following a culture of Customer Obsession, getting it right first time, every time.

2. Developing and managing the sales team in the regions for which you are responsible. You will also develop new opportunities through working with marketing, business development, strategy, market information and research.


The role will include:

● Telephone and email “front line response” for your region, first point of contact for customer queries.

● Find new opportunities in each designated market including retail shops, rental and E-Commerce opportunities.

● To develop an excellent understanding of Frog Bikes’ products.

● Fully understand the Frog trade customer experience - from Reps calls, to stores placing orders, to receiving & building bikes and selling them to consumers

● Taking and managing orders (consumer and trade) for your region (and covering other regions when required)

● Solving customer’s problems efficiently and politely, directing technical or fulfilment problems appropriately.

● Supporting reps with their trade customer relationships.

● Being the link between Head Office and the Reps in your region

● Leading and coaching the Reps to aid their delivery of their objectives, and recruiting additional team members where necessary.

● Gaining an understanding of the cycling market in your region and developing relationships with key influencers in the market (for example journalists, bloggers, opinion formers, pro riders)

● Monitor competitor activity in your market, and feed it into relevant team at head office


KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Personally effective: A sales driven go getter, with very good organisational skills who is focussed on delivering results. The role works alongside our small customer services team and works closely with other parts of the business: warehouse team, finance, sales and marketing.

Strives to Achieve : A self-starter who can effectively develop a country from the ground up and deal with associated issues in real-time. This role needs a positive can-do attitude and we are looking for someone who is good at spotting opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.

Communication Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English and at least one other key European language would be advantageous. Good communicator, externally to customers, and internally around the team. Polite and patient telephone manner.

Sales leader : Able to recruit, lead and coach a remote sales force. Managing the sales team to deliver the business strategies and targets (including sales and profit). International Sales Experience and experience of working in another country will be advantageous.

Data and IT Skills: Able to pick up systems quickly (e.g. stock management, trade accounts systems and the telephone system). Fully conversant with word, excel, PowerPoint.

Great attention to detail (taking payment, managing orders, communicating with customers, file management). Captures quality information in relevant systems and able to analyse data to identify trends.

Works well under pressure: Calm and unflappable able to deal with problems in a positive manner and to work in a targeted environment. Happy within a small and informal team environment.

Previous experience dealing directly with customers would be a significant advantage.

An interest in bicycles is a bonus, although detailed technical knowledge is not a pre-requisite.


This is a targeted role, the base salary is negotiable on experience and the role also has opportunity for bonus pay and a benefits package including pension and a health cash plan. Flexible working is available but you must reside within a commutable distance of the Ascot head office and be able to attend the office circa 3 days per week.
