We are on the lookout for a dedicated, passionate team leader to join our dynamic and compassionate team who provide exceptional care for children in residential settings in your area. As a Team Leader in our OFSTED regulated home, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of the children under our care. Your experience and leadership will contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and enriching atmosphere for our Children.

  • Key Responsibilities for this role :_
  • Provide leadership and guidance to support workers, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative team approach.
  • Implement care plans and interventions tailored to the needs of the children.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the emotional, social and educational development of the children.
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding and adhere to relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Engage in creative activities and play with children to promote their physical, social, and intellectual development.
  • Implement routines, boundaries, and consequences appropriately and consistently, in line with the home’s policies and procedures.
  • Experience and Qualifications :_
  • A minimum NVQ Level 3 in health & social care or residential childcare or related degree or professional qualification in a relevant field.
  • Practical experience of working effectively with children/young people in care with a range of complex needs, as well as previous experience of operational/staff management within a social care environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of working with children and young people known to be vulnerable and/or who have experienced trauma, with the ability to develop and implement appropriate strategies.
  • Understanding of Ofsted inspection frameworks and associated regulations.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
