HR Manager Ebbw Vale £40k Reed HR are partnered with a manufacturing company in theNewport Valleys who need a HR Manager who will bring their HR knowledge and experience to develop the function across the business. As HR Manager you’ll report directly to the Board of Directors with the remit of delivering exceptional HR support across the organisation. The role is a standalone position so suit a true generalist who thrives in a manufacturing environment, and someonewho wants to drive forward HR provision and take the lead on all BAU HR requirements as well as several projects across the business. What you’ll be doing: - Covering all HR duties such as recruitment, selection policy/practices, ER casework, reward and benefits, contracts, L&D and performance management. - Development of updated Employee Handbook, along with a review of all HR policies and procedures. - Building engagement with department/functional managers to upskill and advise. - Ad hoc project work such as company ESG activities. What you need: - Experience at HR Manager/Advisor in standalone position where you led the HR function for the business. - To have worked within a manufacturing environment in previous roles. - CIPD qualified or qualified by experience and able to evidence up to date knowledge of appropriate legislation. - To be a self-starter - someone who will identify opportunities and deliver solutions to the board.
