Role Overview The Charge Nurse is responsible for leading a team of nurses and support staff to deliver a high standard of individualised patient-focused care, and coordinating clinical, administrative and operational activities. The Charge Nurse will be integral for promoting a “Community First, Company Second” culture, leading the way and creating a great place to work for teammates. Main Responsibilities Overall leadership and operations management of the clinicProviding a seamless patient journey and an inviting environment for clients through all touch pointsLiaising with external organisations such as NHS Trusts or the CQC with the support of the Regional ManagerImplementing new processes to drive quality improvements initiative through the clinicOnboarding new teammates effectively alongside the wider teamDevelop positive relationships with patients and handling any complaints that may ariseEnsuring compliance with all relevant clinical, governance and regulatory systems and policies including KLoEMaintaining accurate records and timely report submissions Person Specification Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission, or willingness to become oneRegistered Nurse with renal experiencePrevious clinical leadership experience in an outpatient haemodialysis settingEngaging communication skills and a friendly demeanour to successfully connect with a diverse team and patientsLead by example style to encourage a value driven culture that brings the best out of everyoneProactive and solution orientated approach to changing situations in a clinical environmentExceptional organisation skills to manage an array of different tasks associated with running a clinicEvidence of Continued Professional Development, ideally in Renal Care What We Offer Salary depending upon experienceCompany Pension Scheme35 days’ paid leave per annum, including bank holidaysMonday to Saturday working patternDay shifts onlyA commitment to your training and development Ready to make a difference in the lives of patients?
