Assistant Rota Coordinator/deployment Officer

To work within the Medical Staffing Team supporting a quality medical Deployment service for the Trust. Supporting the Divisional rota coordinators, processing in accordance with Trust Policy and Procedures the doctor rota gaps, recording of resignations, swaps, absence and sickness and booking internal Bank doctors and Agency doctors as requested by medical departments.

The assistant medical deployment/rota coordinator will :

  • Support the Rota coordinators to ensure that the e-Rostering system has the correct rota templates against each roster.
  • Align doctors to rosters for each new starter and rotational post.
  • Support the Rota coordinators with managing the live rosters.
  • Support with the management of swaps, sickness and absence recording on the e-Rostering system.
  • Support the management of Medical rota gaps including securing the recruitment of medical bank staff and temporary staffing solutions in conjunction with senior medical staff.
