Job Title : Pipe Fitter

Overall Job Purpose : Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our successful team working on a range of sites throughout the UK. The majority of the work will involve pipe fitting, welding andinstallation of various systems according to specifications.

Responsible to : Project Manager / Site Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for a number of tasks and responsibilities. The include but are not limited to:

  • Undertake all duties associated with that of a Pipe Fitter
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Safe use of welding equipment along with hand / power tools
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, contracts and colleagues
  • Use mobile system to photograph and record completed work on site.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with all statutory health and safety requirements
  • Organise all materials and equipment associated with a project

Person Specification

  • Previous experience working as a Pipe Fitter
  • Experience using a range of equipment and machinery associated with Pipe Fitting
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing projects
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel to location throughout the UK with overnight stays

Qualifications and Certification

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Formal qualification in welding / fabrications are not essential but are advantageous

Additional Information

Type of Employment :Permanent

Working Hours :Full Time, Monday to Friday

Location :Devon based office (Nationwide coverage)

Remuneration :£30,000 to £40,000 per annum
