Arkle Finance are a fast-growing Consumer and SME lender who pride themselves on an efficient and friendly service. We are looking for a collector to join a well-established Collections Team

Experience within a similar collection’s role, or credit control role is essential. This role is KPI driven and would suit confident individuals who are not afraid of having difficult but constructive conversations with customers, have the ability to manage their own workload, and work to strict deadlines to provide timely resolution of arrears cases

• Proactive management of a portfolio of cases where clients have fallen past due and resolve other payment queries.
• Analysis of credit and customer data to assess their ability to repay
• Negotiation skills and the ability to work with customers to ensure that debts are repaid in full whilst ensuring the fair treatment of customers
• Management of customers with vulnerabilities that impact their ability to repay
• Taking customer payments through card payments of bank transfers. Set up ongoing DD payment arrangements
• Discuss customers options with regards to Voluntary Termination, Novation and early settlement.
• Generate supporting letters including (not limited to) arrears, and default notices.
• Liaise with external collection agents and Brokers sending relevant files to keep updated.
• Maintaining up to date client records and recording next actions in our customer contact systems
• High standards of personal conduct with an understanding the FCA rules for regulated lending
• Ad Hoc projects as and when required to aid development.

Salary : £21,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
