About the Role: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team, working across various primary schools in the Newark area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and helping children achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2. Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher. Support the development of children's social, emotional, and academic skills. Help to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support. Requirements: A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools). Proven experience working in a primary school setting, particularly within EYFS, KS1, or KS2. A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and child development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
