Head of IT - FMCG - £80-90k

Rare opportunity to lead the IT function of a prestigious market leader. The Head of IT will be focused on supporting and enabling the business to realise opportunities by identifying, designing, and implementing system developments in conjunction with the management team.

Main Duties-

• Develop a clear and robust IT Strategy taking into consideration cost efficiency, legislation and security
• Project Management including resourcing, financial reporting, scheduling and implementation
• Ensure System Stability & Performance
• System Continuity
• Software and Data
• Negotiate Contracts
• Budgetary Control
• Ensure System Stability & Performance
• Support to the wider business
• Managing The Team including appraisals and development

Professional Experience:

• 3 Years’ experience in leading an IT function
• 5 years’ experience in a MS server environment
• 3 years’ experience in data management and report requirements and building
• Able to operate effectively in a high volume FMCG operation
• Possess a good understanding of lasted training, learning and development techniques
• Able to work diplomatically and confidentially.
• Demonstrable experience of instigating, managing and delivering programmes or projects both inside the IT department and throughout operations.

Qualifications:

• Trained in systems analysis, systems design, project leadership and planning and control skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server and SQL
