Senior Front End Engineer

Avanti Recruitment is working with an international software company that specialises in the online vehicle retailing & financing sector and they are looking for a remote Senior Front End Engineer to join their team.

The company’s software is accessed by 80,000 retailers across the UK alone and they are currently expanding in Germany, Italy & France with even bigger plans in the works over the next few years.

You would be joining an agile team comprised of 4 Front End Engineers, 4 Back End Engineers, 2 QAs and a Product Manager. Some of the exciting challenges you’ll get to work on include scalability and cohesiveness of the front end across multiple countrieswhile taking into account different languages, currencies, etc. Their future plans also include streamlining their existing solutions into one platform.

This would be an ideal time to join the company as, with their impressive organic growth, there will be ample opportunities for progression with the role having the potential of evolving into Head of Engineering or VP of Front End Development. Because ofthis, they are looking for someone who will be happy to pick up mentorship and leadership responsibilities.

They operate remotely and once a month the company gets together to get everyone’s input and discuss goals and aspirations for the following month. The company will cover travel, accommodation and food costs and they usually host in hotels such as the Hiltonin the Manchester area.

Tech stack : React, JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6+, Redux, Saas/Less & other CSS frameworks, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Redshift, Redis,.NET, C#, AWS/Azure.

They offer a competitive salary of up to £85,000 along with 25 days Holiday (with an additional birthday off and a buy & sell holiday option), private health insurance, uncapped training budget and more.
