FLT Driver / Yard Op

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative / FLT Driver to join our leading client located in West Bromwich.As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the yard by using a FLT to load, unload, and transport goods within the yard.Duties include (but are not limited to):-Operate FLT to move and position goods and other materials-Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner-Conduct regular checks on FLT and around the yard to maintain a good working condition-Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment-Always adhere to health and safety proceduresThe Ideal Candidate:-Valid Counterbalance FLT licence-Previous experience within a similar role is beneficial-Good understanding of health and safety regulations-Ability to work independently and as part of a team-Excellent communication skillsHours:08:00am - 17:00pm from Monday to FridayPay Rate:£11.44 per hourThis is a temporary assignment with the view to go permanent after a successful trial period.Immediate starts available for the suitable candidate.If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with your CV.
