Cerebral Palsy Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team near Devizes, Wiltshire. Our client has a severe case of cerebral palsy requiring 2:1 care. Our client enjoys a variety of activities and has multiple therapy sessions including hydrotherapy so being able to drive and swim are a must.   Pay Rate:   £15 - £17 per hour Working Hours: You will be a part of a team delivering 2:1 care. The shifts will cover 08:00 – 22:00 (Monday to Sunday) Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists. Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility. Administering medication and monitoring health conditions. Providing emotional support and companionship. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions. Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care. To be able to deal with challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work the specified hours.   Benefits: Supportive and friendly working environment.
