Grounds Maintenance Operative

Thames Valley Landscapes are a well-established commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated full-time Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our busy and highly regarded team, maintaining grounds in and around Berks and Bucks.

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining plants, hedges and trees at customer sites such as hotel grounds, schools, and marinas.
  • General maintenance such as mowing, hedge cutting, planting, pruning and strimming etc.
  • Use of ride-on mowers when required.
  • Weed control and litter clearing.
  • Working hard to ensure all contracted grounds are at a high standard.
  • Minimum 1 years experience in grounds maintenance
  • Good communication skills and an eye for detail.
  • Passionate about the environment and a can-do attitude.
  • Teamwork mindset, but also able to work independently.
  • Ability to use a wide range of machinery and tools.
  • Eagerness to learn and improve to progress within company.
  • Flexible in approach to work and comfortable with working in all weathers
  • Full UK driving licence
