Strategic Payroll Manager

We are working with a fab client based in the North east to recruit an experienced Payroll manager to join their already established team within a large shared service centre.

This is a Fantastic opportunity to lead a sizeable team within a forward facing business. This is not a classic Payroll manager position and woudl suit someone wanting to get involved in Projects, process improvements and involvement in complex payrolls.Overseeing the team to produce a timely and accurate payroll whilst being involved at a senior level to develop teh payroll offering.

Responsibilities :

• Full end to End payroll processing experience and comprehensive knowledge of all UK payroll legislation
• Manipulation of data within Excel, V-Look ups and Pivot tables
• Team Management experience
• Experience of dealing with volume payrolls
• Processing an inhouse payroll
• Year end processes including the preparation of P11D's and HMRC submissions

• Highly experienced Payroll manager
• Experienced in managing large teams
• Proven track record of working within an accountancy practice
• Fully experienced operational Payroll manager
• Excellent Stakeholder management
