We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to be part of our team at Richmond Centre, Munster Barracks, DL9 3PZ Perks of the job

  • £10.42 per hour
  • Part time - 20 contract - Monday - Friday with occasional weekends if required to cover
  • Shifts vary between 9am-7.15pm

What you'll be doing Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • Food handling
  • Restocking items and stock rotation
  • Operating the till and cash handling
  • Client focus - providing excellent customer service at all times
  • General cleaning of front and back of house
  • Perform daily paperwork and keep diligent records as required
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
  • Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
  • Preparation of any other public facing areas as required
  • Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role, including working towards your Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided
  • Basic numeracy skills
  • A DBS check is required
