Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at The Weir Bar in Brentford. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing and training staff, maintaining inventory and supplies, managing budgets and financials, and implementing marketing and promotional strategies.

• Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, whiskeys, and cocktails
• Ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Experience in staff hiring, training, and scheduling
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of budgeting, financials, and profit and loss management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus
