Who are we?

NobleCare is a provider of specialised and complex support for people with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We offer customised support packages throughout our properties in the West Midlands, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.

We are looking for a maintenance person to support our residential care homes in Great Barr. Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Repairs and enhancements to company facilities and equipment
  • Install and maintain equipment that is to be used at the company facilities
  • Plumbing - un-blocking sinks, traps and waste pipes, maintenance of taps, repair and replacement of toilets, sinks, showers and baths
  • Painting and Decorating to a high standard
  • Joinery
  • first line maintenance of fixtures and fittings
  • Electrics - fitting of plugs and sockets to appliances, in accordance with H&S guidelines
  • Clean and test light fittings and systems, replacing where necessary minor parts such as tubes, bulbs, fuses starters and diffusers, in accordance with safe working practices
  • Ensure that gullies and drains are kept free from debris and that the home grounds are litter free
  • Responsible for ensuring clear and safe pedestrian access to the home, particularly in adverse weather conditions
  • Maintain Company facility gardens and driveways
  • Dispose of waste materials in a safe, hygienic manner ensuring that it is available for collection as required

Job Types : Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Experience :

  • Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
