Team Leader

Are you an experienced Children's & Young person support worker? We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible Children & Young people. We are looking for individuals with leadership qualities and are able to run a shift taking the lead with three young people and utilising two members of staff.

• Free meals when on shift We are recruiting for Children Team Leaders for our residential children’s homes within Arnold, Nottingham: The working day can be very unpredictable and you could find yourself doing a variation of duties such as planning rotas, activities for the young people and closely supporting the homes manager in various meetings and appointments. We are looking for people who are flexible, reliable, adaptable able to read situations to help our young people make positive choices whilst proactively supporting colleagues in their development through leading by example. Whilst Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People inline with Ofsted regulations.

As a team leader your goal will be to work with the two members of staff at your disposal to create a family atmosphere within the home while safeguarding three vulnerable young people aged 11-17. Additionally, you will work closely alongside an experienced homes manager and be asked to support with leadership of the home.

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

We are looking for people with the ability to assist the Registered Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose

• To receive supervision in line with Quality Standards and to take responsibility for personal development and progress of individual training needs
• To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager.
