SIMONSTONE HALL HOTEL & TINE RESTAURANT Yorkshire Dales Country House Hotel & Restaurant

We are seeking a Front of House Team member to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional customer service in a beautiful hotel and restaurant environment.

Duties :

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Assist in seating guests and taking their orders promptly
  • Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional products
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the front of house area
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
  • Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
  • Assist in basic food preparation tasks when required

Experience :

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
  • Knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terminology
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively

Pay: £10.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
