Your new company Hays in pleased to be working with a leading manufacturing organisation to appoint an HR Administrator in a newly created role within their HR team. Your new role This is an excellent development opportunity, and is ideal for both ambitious HR graduates who are seeking the first step in their HR career, or someone who has worked 2/3 years within an HR team and is ready for the next step. Salary is competitive and willdepend on experience. As an HR Administrator, you will work as part of a busy HR team, where no two days are the same and support with the day-to-day operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing/co-ordination of absence and sickness
  • Supporting with the recruitment process
  • Supporting with note taking during disciplinary's, grievance and other HR related meetings
  • Maintaining internal employee records
  • Updating company policies and procedures and ensuring legal compliance
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR enquiries
  • Liaising with employees on queries about HR-related issues
  • Facilitating with learning and development

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience within a busy HR environment/or a degree in Human Resources
  • CIPD qualification (or accredited degree) would be desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT proficient
  • Desire to succeed
