Assistant Financial Accountant |£30,000 - £40,000 + suite of benefits (bonus, healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday, hybrid working etc) |Weybridge or Canary Wharf (Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days flexible working from home)

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining the financial controls team - giving you an incredible grounding in the core engine room accounting processes and procedures which will stand you in superb stead when it comes to fast-track progression.

You’ll have hugely valuable exposure and access to technically strong and commercially astute qualified mentors.

You’ll be heavily involved in financial reporting and analysis, enhancing controls, reconciliations and balance sheet integrity, project accounting and process improvementa bedrock of experience that sits perfectly alongside ACCA or ACA qualifications.

You’ll be part of a transformation programme aimed at introducing financial excellence and world class control - the role will give you a high level of understanding and very clear routes for progression (into financial control or finance leadership, businesspartnering or project accounting).

You’ll ideally be a finance graduate or AAT qualified and looking to complete a further professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent) - you’ll be working with managers and peers who are ACCA and CIMA qualified and have plenty of support and guidance available.

You need :

• A finance and accounting degree or AAT qualification and an appetite to become fully qualified (ACCA or equivalent).
• Firm core accounting skills and experience.
• A proactive attitude to learning new skills and personal development - this is an environment where there is major scope for learning progression.
• Excellent IT competency - good knowledge of Excel.
• Superb attention to detail and a naturally diligent approach.

The role would likely suit someone looking for a pathway into a senior finance role within a large global group.
