Senior Clerical Officer

The Peggy Wood Breast Unit at Maidstone Hospital has a full-time vacancy for a Band 3Senior Clerical Officer,Monday to Friday37.5 hours per week. If so and you have good organisational skills, are professional, a good team player and able to work without close supervision and on your own initiative then this may be the job for you. The post also involves communication with patients and all members of the multi-disciplinary team; face-to-face and by telephone. Therefore an outgoing nature and pleasant manner is essential, displaying tact and diplomacy where necessary. Additional duties include record keeping and the input of data onto the Breast screening computer programme. Previous experience in a healthcare setting and use of patient databases is essential. Reception duties will be worked on a rota basis and will include occasional working until 17:30hrs. Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
