Executive Assistant to Managing Director – Wetherby, Leeds (2-3 Days in the Office)

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for an exciting new challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and fast-growing festival business with a turnover exceeding £10 million. This is an incredible opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director and be a key player in a company known for its innovative approach and rapid industry growth.


The Role:

This is a brand-new position where you’ll act as the right-hand to the Managing Director, providing vital support to streamline their day-to-day operations. You’ll manage stakeholder relationships, handle key administrative functions, and play an essential role in driving business success. The role offers significant potential for growth as you get to know the business.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the MD’s diary and inbox, ensuring efficient time management and handling essential correspondence.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for key clients, sponsors, and partners, representing the MD professionally in all communications.
  • Prepare sales reports, providing insights to aid in business decisions, and produce spreadsheets for the operations team.
  • Organise and attend meetings, ensuring the MD is fully briefed and minuting as required.
  • Assist in coordinating business projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Act as a key contact for the wider team, managing enquiries and ensuring smooth communication.


Ideal candidate:

  • Proactive, highly organised, and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative role.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Discreet and professional with a high level of confidentiality.


Based near Wetherby, Leeds, this role requires 2-3 days in the office, with flexibility to work remotely. A driving licence is essential due to the location. There’s also the opportunity to attend some of the festivals, particularly during the summer season, to gain valuable industry insight.
