Metal Recycling Operative

Quest Employment are looking to recruit a Metal Recycling Operative for a small recycling plant based in Corby near Priors Hall.

This is an on going position, Monday to Friday and pays £11 per hour. With huge opportunities to be taken on permanently within 12 weeks. Your start times will vary anytime between 7am and 8.30am dependant on delivery times and finish time will depend onthis also but is usually a 9-11 hour shift daily..

It is a very manual and labour intensive position as you will be expected to help load the raw materials into the correct containers and machines - this will include shovelling. You will then be expected to monitor and maintain the machinery as it separatesthe metals into high and low value. A large degree of this is quality control and being positioned on the line ensuring there are no items which have made it through the machine that shouldn't have.

If you have a counterbalance license this would be beneficial but not necessary as the client offers training on FLT and other machinery.
