Employee Relations Specialist

£220 p/day - 3 month contract - Hybrid

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist. The role of Employee Relations Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for ER case management for a specific part of the business. Working with Line Managers and HR colleagues supporting on a number of ER processes including disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement etc. Working with both employee and employer to resolve issues to ensure situations are resolved fairly.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with the ER Manager, provide advice and support to line manager, employees and HR on a range of issues including performance management, conduct issues, grievances, sickness absence, flexible working requests and workplace concerns.
  • Ensure that ER investigations are conducted thoroughly and fairly.
  • Liaise and coach line managers on performance processes.
  • Support the wider team on wider ER issues.
  • Provide documentation and follow ups.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally CIPD and degree level qualified or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Strong understanding of employment law
  • Strong consultancy and problem-solving skills.
