Job Description This is one for Electronics Engineers who want to get involved in the whole product development lifecycle including detailed design, verification testing and manufacturing support.
If you have a strong understanding of Electronics principles, demonstrable experience of product development and familiarity with both digital & analogue interfaces, this is YOUR opportunity to work for a global leader in modern facilities just outside of Cambridge.
There is no average day but you can expect to be involved in: Contributing to the technical design & specification of products Collaborating across disciplines to resolve design and integration issues Interacting with the Software team at device driver level (especially during bring-up phases) Developing and executing test plans Progress reporting to project team and line manager What do we need from you?
Bachelors degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience Strong understanding of fundamental electronics principles Experience of selecting and confirming suitability of devices to meet core requirements, and understanding of the wider implications on hardware and software Familiarity with digital interfaces, including I2C, UART and USB Familiarity with analogue interfaces Experience of a product development environment If you have experience with any of the following, it would be an added bonus!
Simulating designs in LTSpice, Hyperlynx and Flowtherm.
MIPI interfaces and camera integration High speed digital design Power supply design and power management Thermal simulation Audio design Battery and charger design What can you expect in return?
