Responsibilities of the Electronics Engineer

  • Design and Development : Create and develop electronic circuits and systems, including analog and digital designs for various devices and applications.
  • Schematic Design : Generate circuit diagrams and schematics, specifying components and their interconnections.
  • PCB Layout : Design printed circuit boards (PCBs), ensuring proper placement, routing, and functionality of electronic components.
  • Component Selection : Choose appropriate electronic components based on performance, cost, availability, and reliability.
  • Prototyping : Build and test prototypes to verify design performance and functionality.
  • Simulation and Testing : Use simulation software and testing equipment to validate designs under different conditions.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues in electronic circuits, improving performance or correcting faults.
  • Compliance and Safety : Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Documentation : Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with other engineers (e.g., mechanical, software) and stakeholders to integrate designs into final products.


Requirement of the Electronics Engineer

  • Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of digital and analogue electronics.
  • Capable of designing, developing and testing circuits involving FPGAs and MCUs from scratch.
