Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary) Location: Newcastle Salary: £75 - £100 per day Contract: Full Time/Part Time Start: ASAP Are you a recent graduate looking to gain experience in the education sector? GSL Education Newcastle is seeking a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Newcastle . This role offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a primary school setting, supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. Job Summary:  The Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to provide support across various subjects. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, working with small groups or one-on-one with students, and helping to manage classroom behaviour. Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant: Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons. Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help. Work with small groups of students to reinforce learning. Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Support teachers with administrative tasks and classroom organization. Participate in school activities and events as required. Qualifications for a Graduate Teaching Assistant: A degree in any discipline. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for working with children and supporting their learning. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive and flexible approach to work.
