Engineering Manager

The company is a world class manufacturer of material handling equipment with over 100+ years of expertise. Their products help their customers across multiple industries accelerate their supply chains, integrate automation and drive greater productivity throughout their operations.

As the Engineering Manager, you'll be tasked with issuing manufacturing drawings, the management of the Engineering (Design) Team, producing Bills of Materials, the posting of manufacturing details to the ERP/OPERA system, issuing material requirements to purchasing, issuing manufacturing details to production, and ensuring documentation including manuals is in place and up to date. Additionally, the Engineering Manager's KPIs are based on Cost effective design, Timely completion and issue of designs, and Quality performance.

What we would like from the Engineering Manager:

• Degree in Engineering
• Engineering Team Management and People Management experience
• Extensive Machinery Design experience
• Experience of using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D
• Ability to understand the needs of the business
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Must be able to work under pressure in a calm and positive manner

• Salary paying up to £55,000 doe
