Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and deliver renewable energy projects, particularly in partnership with local authorities. The successful candidate will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with local authorities and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure smooth delivery.
- Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and a passion for renewable technologies
- Experience working with local authorities and understanding their unique project requirements.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Project Management.
- Full UK driving license.
