Bsl Specialist

Teaching Personnel are currently workign with a school in Truro and are in need of a BSL specilaist to support a student on a 1:1 basis. The school: - Based in Truro - KS3 and KS4 (11-19) - Not accessible by train. Busses are limited - SEN school - specialising in ASC The role: - Full time - Term time - option to add hours in holidays is available - 09:00-15:00 - May be extended if needed - Working 1:1 with a young person who uses BSL The requirements: - Available full time - Level 3 BSL trained as a minimum - Must be happy to complete additional BSL courses - Obtain two references from your places of work within the last 6 years - we will need to contact referees This role is perfect for anybody with a strong understanding of BSL and ASC who is looking to progress within a role. The school will put you on a weeks, paid induction in which you will complete training for safeguarding positive behaviour handling, Autismawareness and more. The school are also interested in helping people strive and will work with you to put you through HLTA training and Teacher training if this is the path you're interested in.
