Senior Finance Business Partner - Central Birmingham - 75 - 80k + Bonus

Gleeson Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join an International distribution organisation who have gone through significant growth and are looking for a hands on Accountant who can become the key interface to an MD,Head of strategy and Performance Director.

The business is going through a significant period of change and need a forward thinking individual who is comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders to support their business areas and support their continued growth.

The new leadership team are eager to change the culture of the finance team and bring in high achievers who will drive change and support new business development opportunities. The role will be based in Central Birmingham with hybrid working available,however, due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach will be necessary.

Senior Finance Business Partner in Birmingham responsibilities :

  • Lead all business case analysis on product performance
  • Continue to drive an exceptional business partnering finance culture
  • Support the FD on all commercial ad hoc projects
  • Board level presenting
  • Support the FP&A tram with delivery of monthly presentations of financial performance
  • Works closely with budget holders to support he production of accurate budgets, quarterly re-forecasts and strategic plans
  • Lead the identification of key business risks and development opportunities
  • Develop scenario models to deliver contingency planning
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of all key areas of the business

Senior Finance Business Partner in Birmingham responsibilities requirements

  • Fully Qualified (ACA or CIMA or ACCA)
  • Experience in a large complex organisation
  • Demonstrable experience partnering at board level
  • Commercial finance background with significant exposure to operational teams
